Grass Balm

Grass Balm is a perennial, lemon-scented herb native to southern Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Lemon Balm belongs to the genus Melissa, originating in the Mediterranean to western and central Asian regions. Melissa means in Greek ‘’bee’’ which refers to the strong attraction that bees have to Grass Balm. The bioactive components of Lemon balm exert positive activities on the central nervous system. A mild sedative, anti-stress and anxiolytic effect can be induced when grass balm is consumed, affecting mood and cognitive function positively.
